Schools out until at least April 24th here in Spokane. To give the kiddles something to occupy their time and get them outdoors, some genius has thought of a game for them. Neighbors are to put a shamrock in a window. Whichever child logs the most shamrocks wins. Not sure what they win, but probably just the fact that it's a competition is enough to get them counting.

Here is my front door this morning. I so like the way it looks, I just may keep the shamrock right where it is!

Magical Glass

After a delicious brunch at "Dolly's Cafe" in Spokane, Dawn and I made our way to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture.  Every once in a while they have an exhibit that cannot be missed.  This time is was called "Luminous" and boy was it!!

 Over 40 works of modern and contemporary glass from one of the preeminent glass museums in the world

The above are the stunning centerpiece of the exhibition . . . the Chihuly Laguna Murano chandeliers.  

I couldn't help myself.  Had to get up close and personal with these chandelier pieces!
