Overlooked MAC photos

While eliminating photos from my April digital album this year, I came across a few more pictures taken at the Museum of Arts & Culture in Spokane when we were at the Chihuly exhibit.

  These select articles were on display from the MAC's huge collection of Native American historic relics.

 I fell in love with this little woven basket (shown here larger than life size).

I am hoping someday soon they will open up their vast collection of Indian artifacts and fill the museum with them.

Popping Corks

Saturday was planned to be "cork craft day" in my studio.  However, only my good friend Andra showed up to make cork ornaments.  It was nice, just the two of us, catching up on family news with a glass of wine while crafting.

  

Ask yourself. What else would we be drinking while working with corks!?

 I have already started putting together an ornament similar to these

 With the help of t.o.b. and his trusty drill press, a fat champagne cork has already been planted with a little succulent.  I just need to adhere a magnet and it will be hanging on my frig

 Isn't this one elegant with its wired ribbon, pearls and gold key?  Need to make a trip to Hobby Lobby for a few supplies

I'm thinking this would really jazz up a wine bottle as a hostess gift when you're invited to dinner
